Discover those answers firsthand when you and your family join in the preparation of a feast and then indulge in your cooking at a candlelight dinner served inside the historic Conner House. Recipes are straight from the pages of a 19th-century cookbook. Before and during dinner you will be entertained by costumed hosts who tell stories about life in the 19th century. Menu: Popcorn, sliced cheese and crackers, cider, beef broth with rivels (Pennsylvania Dutch noodle/dumplings), pork collops (Slices of tenderloin, breaded and baked), chicken in the French way (chicken stewed in a wine sauce), potato eggs (fried potato balls), dilled green beans, gingered carrots, squash pie or pudding, cornbread and butter, everlasting syllabub (whipped cream and egg whites with wine, served over orange slices).
